Last night found the Rooks, again organized together. JG54 and some of the other rook squads banded together for a full all out assault on the knits. The knit ports and bases were attacked with heavy resistance, although futile as it was, they were still taken.
the fighting was awesome as the pilots like Kuhn, flatiron, bulldog and too many more to list, battled the oncoming onslaught.
A40 was a wild battle with guys like biggamer, trying to defend the town and base, as the rooks came in and tore the place up. although out-numbered, they valiantly fought off the rook marauders, but to no avail. In the end, the rooks took that base too.
<S> to all that played last night it was great fun! see ya all tonight!
This propaganda report brought to you by JG54 and the Rooks in the midwar :D

It's usually the Knights reigning supreme within the MW with numbers (Satan's Playmates) ... nice to see the shoe on the other foot.
Kudos to JG54 for attempting to turn the tide ... I just might pop into the MW to partake.

kudos go to Shawk and the wings of terror, JG54 is just helping out!

you know they're gonna accuse you of being a horde now, right?

When I logged on for a few sorties, the numbers were about even until the Knits started to get their tulips handed back to them. Once the Knits started losing, they started to log off which is typical of them.

i look at it as multi-squad co-operation/operations!

It has been a nice change to see the nits get theirs azz's handed to them by anyone. I fly bish mostly, sometimes switch to rook when they need help and no bish are on. Hardly ever have numbers as a bish in MW and really hard to find a good fight anymore. Ive been going to LW more recently and its more engaging. I expect to get ganged 5-1 there....
-
The regular bish crew in MW never plays as a team, never cooridnates or even talks on range or country channel. Every time I have made an effort to go bish for a tour I always end up going back to rook or nit just to have other people to play the game with. Of course, thats just me ;)

I noticed when the times I've flown Bish is that the only way anyone else will speak to you is if you're in the squadron and country channel is usually very quiet. Bish are also the more paranoid of the three sides in MW, probably why country communication is usually only on the squadron level.
