Actually that would probably be the most survivable non-perk bomber that could be added to AH.  Armored engines, full self sealing fuel tanks, armored crew positions and 5 20mm cannon as defensive armament.

Heck no Karnak, I've been bugging Pyro for the Emily for a long time. Every now and again I start an Emily thread just to get some attention.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

It's a well-known fact that the Emily was not only a heavily armed aircraft, but it could take an astounding amount of punishment and continue to fly.

Think about this: Adding the Emily to AH would give you another method of sending troops to a base, land on the water next to the base, and have them run like hell! Not exactly as efficient as dropping them, but way cooler.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Not to mention that fact that you could park your Emily outside of vis range on the water, and when the coast is clear, take off and bring in the troops pronto. Try and do that with a C-47!

banana, I think that's a great aircraft suggestion!  It's Japanese, it can land on water, nice armament, nice guns, holds troops, about the same ord loadout of the B26, and it's made by Kawanishi (they've got another fine aircraft in the game).

Just an idea, but if it is added, hows about making the ability to carry troops a real cheap perk?  If not, I would think C47 use would just die.

Not if alternative loadouts were provided for the C47.. such as radar replacement, fuel containers, replacement acks etc  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
