So nice that you can just read the surface facts of the case and call him guilty Rip.  We should just elimnate the courts and let you be judge and jury, sure would save a lot of time.

It sounds too much like drunken regret and ticked off friends to me.

Read the police reports yourself.  How he does not end up in jail I don't understand.  The civil suit is forthcoming I am sure.  He is lucky to only get a 6 game suspension.

I won't take a side either way, I'll let a court do that.

I've had a co-worker who was wrongly accused of rape; he lost his job, his family only to have the accuser claim it was a method of revenge (for him sleeping with the best friend) in open trial.
