It is sad and indeed wrongful to make comments based on someone's health and lifestyle in a time of extreme pain and anguish to the person, their family, fans, and friends, about someone who is fighting for their lives in ICU. These assumptions are wrong and shameful.
How would you feel if it were you?
I can only hope and pray that if you were in a long-term diabetic's shoes with other health problems that as a young man with hopefully many years left that you would hope for thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery (my wife, an RN, with many years experience said "I've seen worst cases before recover and go on living a great life years later").
My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and friends, and fans. :salute
