Apparently he just started a new garden in his backyard! lol
He's playing at THIS Place called the Tupelo in Londonderry NH. on Saturday nite.
It really couldn't get much better.
I guess this place has a maximum capacity of 230 people.
Not a bad seat in the house AND its even BYOB!!
If you didn't know better, you'd drive right by this place and think it was Jethro Bodines house!!

A shot from the stage.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited about seeing a show.
When he goes into "Life in London" my heads probably gonna explode!!
this will NOT be some wimpy "unplugged" show, its his full band Plugged in and rockin!!
I'll try to post some pics on Sunday after the show!
Oh yeah--I guess his guest guitarist that evening is gonna be Rick Derringer!!
Any other Pat Travers Band Fans out there?
-
Hell yeah! Rock on bro :rock wish I could see the show.
-
Holy cow :O he's still alive? I liked some of his music, not all. Would be a cool show though.
-
Lol -yup still alive.
He just released a new CD bout a week ago called "Fidelis".
I'm guessin that I will hear some of it on Saturday nite.
He seems like a pretty down to earth guy.
He converses with people on his Facebook page, several times a day--every day!!
Love the pictures of him diggin in his garden.

BOOM-BOOM Out go the lights :rock

Well, went ot the show on Saturday nite and as expected Pat Travers band was incredible.
They opened up with "Life in London"
They played a couple tunes off his new CD "Fidelis" and they were great too!
Because I liked the picture of him "playing" his shovel in his garden so much, i brought a special one for him to sign for me.
The guy was very gracious and had a great sense of humor about the whole thing.
Apparently its the 1st shovel he's ever signed!! lol
And he even "played" me a tune on it.
Now I can say with a straight face that I own the ONLY Pat Travers signature model shovel on the planet!!

That is a turbo mullet!!!!!!
-
I don't know if I'd call that a mullet or not.
I think its more of what they call a "bowl" cut.
I inadvertantly ran into him in the parking lot before the show, and as he was was walking up to me I could have sworn it was Johnny Ramone!!
Cept Johnny is dead of course!

how very cool...........I'm more than excited for ya man.
to this day......of ALL the concerts I have ever seen in my life...the Pat Travers band is THE tightest band (and by "tight"..I don't mean cool like the kids say..I mean musically in sync) I've ever had the pleasure of seeing in my life.
I've run into both Pat..and Robin Zander from cheap trick many times, being from tampa bay...and I'm a life long fan of their work..and let them both know it on more that one occasion.
It ain't what is seems
make's no difference
