I sure hope so.  The La-7 is a better match for the late-war planes than the La-5FN.

The La-7 has less range than the La-5 (392m ver 475m)....gulp !

Please tweak the fuel settings in the arena when you have a mo Pyro  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Sorry, laika, but I think it's the other way around.  La-5FN: 360mi., La-7: 400+mi.

However, a good test to figure this out may be to compare ranges of the 109 to the La5, because the 109 has a range of about 400mi. with internal fuel.

Will get back with you on that.

You are prob right Leonid, I dont know much about the Ruskie rides

I looked over "Fighting Aircraft of WWII by Bill Gunston" when I read this thread. I just checked another source and it agrees with you. No wonder its hard to get FM's right for sims.

IMO the La-5 is a good match for any of the other AH rides. I only find the runstangs a prob cos they have the fuel to run for ever... hehe
