I did skin it but never submitted it; the 479th guys here voted for Swanee Jr as their second squad skin instead.

Yeah, I got out voted on that one. Think I was the only Raider to pick Scat III and the rest went with Swanee Jr, which has become my preferred skin. Something about a bare metal P-38J that makes me all tingly inside.
On a side note, Oboe's Scat III makes a wonderful desktop backround on my game machine at work and the painting makes a good backround on my workstation.

The 38J slots are all full, so if I submitted it, it would be up to HTC. I think it would wind up in the skin queue, and I don't know if any skin in the queue has made it into the game yet. It seems to be part of the player-submitted skinning process that needs to have some kinks worked out of it.
Krusty - bare P-38s are the only way to fly. Go Commando!

such a shame!!! Robin Olds is my P-38 idol!!!

If you wouldnt mind submitting it that way at least it would have a chance, even an outside one of seeing some use. Gen. Olds is one of few that had kills in WW2 and Vietnam. I have spent hours reading about him and his adventures. By all accounts a great leader, a great pilot and quiet the character.

Maybe suggest rotating out Little Edris and replacing her with Scat III? This way we Raiders can still have a couple of 479th skins to choose from.

I'd be tempted to ask for that, but I submitted an updated Little Edris and I think she is the prettiest, most detailed '38 skin I've done. I think she's going to be a personal favorite of mine if she makes it in. I do like the idea of existing '38 squads having more than one skin choice though.

It looks to me like she arrived with the new version. So did my updated 38L's. I never got acceptance emails and never noticed skin update messages in the buffer, but I seem to be seeing them in the online arenas...
