Title: FRAPS and how to stitch individual videos together without re-encoding
Post by: Wolfala on April 25, 2010, 06:59:17 PM
I'm looking to do exactly that. Not re-encode or compress. Not looking to dump into windows movie maker or FRAPS to have it do a 5 hour re-encoding session, unless there is a way to not have it re-encode and just stitch those videos together as is. How would I go about it?

if they are encoded using different codecs i think you'll have to re-encode.

Unless they were created in Fraps, there is no way to stich them together without reprocessing the final product.

If they are standard avi's...there are other programs out there that can stitch them together without having to reprocess.

I have fraps 8. How do I change it so it keeps the same resolution and file wrapper without reencoding?
