Title: Did Windows Update and now screens all messed up

Went to do a windows update last night when I went to bed last night and when I got up this morning I turned on my computer and the highest I can put the resolution is 1024x768.  Normally I have it at like 1250-1350.  Anyone know why it did this?

check your video driver

Why would it be driver?

Could have gotten messed up by using a driver that Microsoft decided your system needed and it messed up the existing driver...happens a lot.

I rolled back the Driver and nothing...Also updated it, and nothing.

Had to do system restore to last night when I updated it, its fine now...

redman there was an nvidia update.  dont d/l the optional updates until at least one month after they come out.  there a good chance some may have problems.  os updates are k to d/l.  last month nvidia had an update that messed up my vc. had to reinstall the os to get rid of it.
