Why didn't he announce that himself?  Is it his shy unassertive personality or is there maybe another reason?

Yep. I've been deer hunting with John Anderson. He's just like any of us, he'll even tell ya his job sucks as bad as anyone elses.  :lol Ted has been on the same deer hunt too. But I wasn't there for that one  :(

I used to weld for Knight Rifles, and every year they'd sponsor a big hunt in this area. I had the pleasure to guide a group of dudes out to their stand. John just happened to be one of them in my group.

There was also a 3 time Supercross Motorcycle Champion that played, Ricky Carmichael.  Also, the bass player for Aerosmith was also a long time player (from DOS days until AW3 closed down) and did play AH for a very brief time.  Didn't know the guy from Aerosmith played at all until I read an interview in one of the gaming industry magazines that had an interview with him about their Guitar Hero game and he was asked what video games he played.

There was also a professional wrestler (no, not Pasha  :)) that played, don't remember his name though but he was relatively famous in the early to mid-90s.

Yep, in the Nomads -- +Sax known IRL as Jerry Eubanks.  He was, and I'm sure is, a really great guy!  I think he played AH as well at the start.

We were talking about music one night, and he casually mentioned that he played in a band, and that's when I learned what band and who he was.  He played it off like he was in a bar band or something. :)

Corky or Silat may still keep in touch with him - I emailed him a few years back.

I seriously doubt the Motor City Madman is in need of the "quick" gratification of a game like this.  He's more of a get up early, take the high-end compound bow out and head out to the wiles of his estate and bag a deer right in the "sleeper spot", field dress it and drag it home-kind of guy.

No I have heard Jay Leno might be a subscriber...he's a hobyist and that might possibly make sense.

A single bish plane being filmed flyn low, like NOE.  A low ground shot of it comin over a hill by itself.  Then just has drums kick in like 10 mossies and escorts pop over bout 1k behind the single fiter. Somewhat like the moss raid on the German prison camp.  But its a stinky rook or knight field and the bish kick their arnold. The end.  Ted, if yer playn I hope yer atleast a Bish ; )

Also, think ACDCs Thunderstruck would be cool to. P47's

If you think his BBS handle is interesting, you should have seen him fly under it. Pfiddyones exclusively.

Then we took him into our little family expecting to soften his ways . . . he changed his name to SWneocon . . . then to SWneo . . . He started flying Yaks . . . Seemed he would be SWlibrul soon.

Little did we know the insidious nature of his chameleon-like transformation, that it was all a well-laid trap, involving the Freemasons, Trilateral Commission, several members of the military-industrial complex, and a jar of slightly turned mayonnaise . . .

His takeover of the squad has been flawless.  Oddly, it is a bit like creeping communism.

You won't believe this...I still have/use my TNT (Ted Nugent Tour) t-shirt from 77....use it to clean my guns...that is NO BS.  Ted would love it...smells like gun solvent and Winchester oil, lmao...it kept ending up in my crap piles through life.  I took it college in 83 accidently and it has followed my around since.  Its right beside my Van Halen's "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" tour t-shirt that I use as a shop rag!!  Funny shiz... :t

Hey squeekers...don't ever through your concert t-shirts away...later in life they will remind you of how much fun you had and, in turn, make you wonder HOW IN THE HELL I ENDED UP HERE!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! :cry

Dear AcesHigh community,

I sit here this morning with my head hung low in shame and embarrassment. For it has come to light that Ted Nugent is in fact NOT a subcriber to AcesHigh. I hereby pledge to you all that I will refrain from posting information on these fine boards until I have all the facts first.
I am quite saddened by these turn of events, as not being a fan of modern rock and roll music myself, can understand the excitement of such a person in our game, as I hear he is a very talented drummer.

He might be and there are other celebrities that may be flying as I knew in AirWarrior, we had several.  I knew one who was the original music director for SNL from 75-80 and scores mega amounts of flicks but the main thing is they are here to ESCAPE their celebrity status and to be able to "fly in peace" as normal folks.  We owe them their opportunity to remain incognito so they may get some little enjoyment from the game.  Threads like this is in no way helping those folks!  If we have celebrities playing the game, it should be up to them to decide whether they wish to be known or not.  Unless they came out and endorsed the game in one of the AH commercials, I would suspect anyone who "comes out" online as that would kinda defeat the purpose of them flying incognito.  The bottom line is give them a break and let them fly in peace.

All the Best...

There are in fact many well-known people playing Aces High, among them Margaret Thatcher (goes by in-game name "SkyRock"), Pierce Brosnan (Gwurzel), Nancy Pelosi (rumored to be flying as "Corncob"), Getty Lee (Newman), Elvis (who faked his own death and now flies online as "Shawk"), Heidi Klum (using two on-line names as two personae:  Shegotya and Betty), and Anthony Bourdain (Lusche).

There are many others.  You can spot them by occasional slip ups on VOX or if you are "in the know" through connections to the Trilateral Commission or Bilderburgers.
