Title: Just a question about GVs
Post by: sparow on April 26, 2010, 06:28:22 PM
Hi,

I'm not much of a "GVer" but I occasionaly take a tank for a spin with disastrous results, most of the time...  :D

The other day I was in a Tiger, stuck in the map room and fell prey of a Ostie - or was it a Wirble? - and another tank. I was tracked and, when I rotating my turret for a last bang, I flipped! A multi-tonne tank like the Tiger just rolled over like a turtle...

My question is: is this normal?

Cheers,

Unfortunately it is normal.  You can a hit an ant hill and flip a tank for some reason.

Map rooms can flip a good tank that is not tracked so when you fired sideways, the recoil probably caused the game engine to register you hitting the map room again causing the flip. :noid

Unfortunately it does. Just wait to you flip a Tiger from a small bush that you didn't notice or get spawned into a group of the "mirrored" trees.   :furious

P.S.- The mirrored trees issue has been addressed in the next patch or version, whichever comes out first.  ;)
