The Argentinian ship Belgrano is famous for being the only ship ever to be sunk by a nuclear submarine, what other claim to fame did this unlucky boat have?
(the clue is in the question).

-
It's only the second boat sunk by a sub since WWII.
-
Keep guessing.
-
It survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor ? :salute
-
It is the only Argentinian ship that was sunk by any sub?
-
It is the only WW2 ship to ever be sunk in combat since WW2 ended? (doubtful but worth a guess)
-
It was sunk using WWII contact torpedoes (Mk8s iirc).

The "Nueve de Julio"

wojo is close enough.
When it was called the USS Phoenix it was known as the luckiest ship in the US Navy as it was the only vessel to be present at Pearl Harbour in December 1941 that didn't even get a scratch.
Turned out to be not so lucky for the Argentinians......

That's because they renamed it...everyone knows you don't mess around with luck and rename something that is lucky.

They were offered a glass bottomed boat to go out and review the fleet.
