Title: Engine Sound drops out...

After a re-install. Engine sound drops out after 1@2 min in game all other sound works... No sound packs installed....
this happens in all AC....

Any ideas?

Speaker configuration in Windows?  Any sound filters/CODECS applied (EAX, DD, AC3...)?

That is an odd one Heater.

Sound card is an SB Audigy No filters or Codecs applied
Cambridge Sound-works sound system

Windows is set to: Quadraphonic

Setting the sound quality from 16 bit to 24 bit appears have cleared this.............

Very strange.

Actually, that makes a lot of sense.
