Title: OT: Sounds for the hobby coder project
Post by: Ex-jazz on May 03, 2010, 04:24:33 PM
Hi

This topic is not related to AH.

I have been working with my own air-race game/sim about ~1.5 years now.
This is a non-profit common good project and I will share the source file(.blend) with the BGE community.

So, I try to make a Red Bull Air-Race kind of experience with the Blender Game Engine.

You can see my result so far on video

I would like ask your kind help with the sounds. I would need a Lycom engine , wind and G-load based structure sound loops.

Here is the real deal

Hi

I took my freedom and setup the sound system, based to the Mitsu's sound pack.

Please, note, I wont publish the sim/game without Mitsu's permit.

This is just a test for the developers fun  :x

Haven't seen Mitsu for many years.  Good luck tracking him down (and I do mean that).

That looks incredible X-Jazz. If I was familiar with Python I'd offer you some assistance.

Thanks Den.

I would actually need a 3D designer for the cockpit texturing and landscape creation  ;)

I'm working with the 'Track judge' function so, the pilot can see the result and data logger info after the successful flight.

Ah. Well, you're already far superior than me when it comes to 3D modeling and texturing. Perhaps Grayeagle can lend a hand when he has some spare time? He's great when it comes to 3D modeling.
