While I find the prospect of autonomous weaponry using lethal force to be quite frightening I think a less than lethal setup like this is pretty sweet.

For some reason all I could think of was that scene from the first Robocop movie where ED209 has the "glitch".

Pretty nifty in a techno geek kinda way, lol :aok   What happens when the batteries go ded?

I like the homemade Steel or PVC tube, springloaded traps, and 12ga ammo.. CS, baton, rubber balls, or beehive if I want to make it ugly!  The snapper type of mousetraps that you can buy at any grocery store will work in a pinch.. For tripwire or pressure trigger usage.. Be careful if ya mess with this kind of thing, the risk is really only for desperate times..
