whats the story on the ww1 planes?, they're awesome, but i cant land with them. the landing gear carraige just crumples.

Training arena, get slower, once your down below 60mph they will touch down without ripping pieces off.

Remember, those engines will still produce a lot of thrust at lowest power setting. Switch engine off on approach to help slowing down.
