Title: GV views....
Post by: Airwolf on May 08, 2010, 11:43:54 PM
It`s my understanding that you can view your GV from an "outside" view to better scan your surroundings....This is suppose to be the Shift + F4 key, but nothing happens...The quick guide says that it must be mapped, so, what I am missing something here?...

Use the arrow keys and pageup/pagedown to move your head.  Once it is in a position you like, hit F10 to save it.  You'll have to do this for each direction you look.

Shift F4, the "ground view mode" just determines at what range ground objects are rendered (& thus are visible) on your screen. (Hit Shift-1 to get back to normal mode).
True "external" views (F3/F5) are not enabled in the main arenas. But as E25280 wrote, adjust your head position for a better view, particularly for the driver this is a must!

You do realize the M8 has an open turret, yes?
