when i respond to a message on these forums and quote somebody, the letter box does not allow me to see what im typing if i type more than a few lines. What it does is once i begin typing in excess of the box it scrolls back to the top instead of scrolling down allowing me to see what im typing. i manually scroll down and as soon as i begin typing again it scroll to the top again and will not allow me to see what im typing.
does this happen to anyone else, and how can i resolve this?

Doesn't happen to me. Which browser are you using? Have you tried reinstalling your Internet browser?
-
internet explorer, and no. ill give it a try but i only have this problem on this forum

I really have no clue as to why that would be happening. Have you checked to see if other forums are of the SMF type?

Its a setting in IE. I remember reading about someone else having trouble like that o these boards. Do a search.

Look for the compatibility mode setting in IE under "tools"...add this site to the list...or just click on the option to show all websites in compatibility view.

Better yet use a proper browser and ditch the IE. It doesn't conform to any standards.

Opera is the only viable alternative but the interface sucks, the built in advance security options are mediocre and there are no security add-ons worth a bean for it. I suppose you're using Flock or Chrome...

I once had a troubled message. First, instead of "Candy" they stuck me with "Bubba", and he pressed down too hard so my muscles ending up hurting more than before... All of that would have been worth it, but apparently he forgot about the 'happy ending' part of the deal. . .
oh wait.. nevermind.. I spelled that wrong.
