will smith's son will play the karate kid.  somebody should start writing original scrips.  way too many remakes in the works.

well? what easier way to make a killing? find an old movie that was popular, get some actors that you can get for a relatively reasonable price, make tiny changes to the script, use a boatload of bluescreen effects, and ya gots yer cash cow,.

I dread the day when they start to remake all the other Mel Brooks films. Or even Airplane, that was a classic

Im still waiting for History of the World Part 2 and Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money

The Producers was remade.....it was complete garbage

It's always dangerous to remake a classic, but I liked The Producers. Maybe it was because Brooks was involved with production.

The Producers musical, though the same story, is not a remake, more like a remix, I like both, also saw it on stage and it was sweet

When I saw Karate Kid remake I immediately thought of Lazs views on I Am Legend lol....
