When you say "disco", are you talking about getting the "Host connection lost" message box or are you talking about crashing straight to the desktop?

Same here, can hear VOX, although it stutters, but press button to talk = instant freeze.  Must CTRL-ALT-DEL to get back to desktop.

I've crashed to the desktop twice.  One "host connection lost" but I think that has to do with the LWB arena resetting.

crash to desktop, then i have to ctrl alt del to get any control, still see the immovable mouse pointer on the AH background but takes mucho time to end program and restart.

then one quick "check it" call and i'm out again

Same problem here, got the "host connection lost" message about 5 times, the program wouldn't shut down even though I hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete., so I had to use the Alt+F4 about 3 times in a row which finally did the trick. :lol

OK To help them out, has anyone crashed WITHOUT hitting the VOX keys?

I thought I did once but now that I think about it, I think I did hit T.  Crashed while typing text but I don't think it got my "/" key press first.. but it all happened so fast I couldn't tell for sure

I also crash to the desktop, get message game stopped functioning or something like that and windows is looking for a solution.  I have win7.  I pressed range  knowingly that it had been disabled, just to see what would happened.  I havent crashed w/o trying to use vox.  this happened around 12 mid pst last nite.

Now that I think about it, I know at least one of my crashes was during me using vox.  I'm relieved that the two problems are linked, rather than having 2+ big bugs, it's just one with the sound.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a patch yet, it must be quite an issue.  I'm sure they're working on it on though.

I use Turtle Beach USB Surround Sound headphones.  I also have onboard sound enabled, but only use the headphones in-game:
