Title: no sound at idle

when i start the engine sound is fine but as soon as it go's to idle no sound, when i go to about half throttle the sound comes back on and all sounds are normal.

Is this in a particular plane?  I was using the Typh, Mossie, and 109 K last nite with no issues.
