Title: Cannot log on

I downloaded the new update, and it says that my firewall settings have to let AH through, so, I did, (even though I found out soon after that the firewall wasn't even on) And with AH re-added, it still won't push through.

Yeah, it says "Unable to connect for Version Checking, please check your firewall settings."

I am getting the same message even after redoing the permissions on my firewall, which I have never had to do prior to this new version. I have reinstalled with the 2.19 p1 installer still same issue. What gives? I see no other options to try.

Some firewalls databases will get corrupt after adding an application back into it many times.  The only cure is to remove the firewall software and re-install it.  This is particularly true for Norton.

Woohoo! Thanks Skuzzy, for the quick reply. I had completely forgotten about having a different firewall running previously. I started the services for it and voila tasty Aces High goodness again. That's what I get for trying to troubleshoot after being awake for 48 hours.
