Title: Tank fuel that means something
Post by: FlakBait422 on May 14, 2010, 01:00:55 PM
Im tired of having them Wirbles takin my town down and vulchin my fields for hours on end! Can we have the fuel load in a tank actually mean something? Giving GV's a time limit on their wonderful spawn camp? Id love it  :aok

Tsc = (Tk) - (Ta)

Where

Tsc = Spawn Camp Time in seconds
Tk = Time you killed them measured in seconds from midnight, January 1, 1970
Ta = Time they arrived at their spawn camp measured in seconds from midnight, January 1, 1970

Ta is a fixed value dependent on when said spawn camper elected to spawn plus any time required to get in position
Tk is entirely in your hands once the spawn is camped

Problem solved.

Part of the reason fuel in gv's doesn't matter is you really don't drive that far, so, it doesn't matter....

Other that siting and idleing, and who doesn't shut down when not moving, you will get a bomb dropped on you long before you drive far enough to run out of gas.

How is giving a GV's a fuel burn going to solve your apparent ineptitude at killing them?

WTH are you talking about?

Those ground vehicles had ranges from 150 to 300+ miles...I'm guessing you want to cut that down to 10?

Seems pretty realistic the way it is.  I can drive my car for 10 minutes, park it, turn it off and have it sit there for years if I so desire.

But, if you're going to do that you need 2 things:

Never said anything about driving it away, did I?    :neener:
I'd expect to be bombed long before the fuel separated.   :D

Not saying that would be a foul Idea  :rofl
