Was curious, so took a snapshot of the system temperatures after 2 solid hours flying in the FSO tonight. I've got an Antec 1200 case and Arctic Cooler 7 on my CPU. I built this thing a year and a half ago and it's been rock solid. I run 1920x1200 with everything maxxed but shadows and get solid 60fps (vsync locked). I'm guessing these temps are fair?

I've never used that temp monitor before so I'm assuming "Value" is the current temp. If so, yes, those temps are fine. CPU is average for a C2D (or from the reported temps I've seen it's average), the CPU is fine up to about 70-80C but normally anything over 65C isn't great. GPU is a little warm, but I have only mine (GTX 260) to compare it to, but either way 63C is fine. GPUs are normally able to get up to 100C but most try to stay under 65-70C, best not to run hot. :)
If that was taken after closing the game then the temps would have dropped a good bit already though. Best way to get an accurate reading is get an On-sceen Display for temps or something that will make charts during gameplay monitoring temps.

Thanks. I had the monitor running while I was in-game, so figured it was monitoring the whole time and the Max temp would be during heavy gameplay. In any case, you answered my question. :salute

Hmm, maybe it is....it's just the CPU and System temps were not even close to possible temps for a game of AH that I wasn't sure of the others Max/Min.
Assuming that the others work (Cores/GPU) then everything is still well within acceptable temps. I think CPU/System is reading a generic Max/Min possible (assuming 2C is even possible).

Only one I see that is kinda high is your GPU. Since it's a Nvidia card the fan probably isn't be used to it potential and you can use something like Riva Tuner to manually adjust it to a higher RPM.
