The sequel to Red Dead Revolver made over 5 years ago will be coming out on Tuesday at 12:01am. It is called Red Dead Redemption, a western, this one is made in late 1800s. It is a completely "changeable" game. Everything you do change's what will happen next. There are to choices to play as, good or bad. When you play as good you are essentially a criminal hunter, if you play as bad you are a robber, and criminal. EVERYTHING you do in the game changes what happens next, if you are good and bring in a criminal dead it will look bad on you because they weren't brought through a trial. If you kill an Innocent person, it will look bad on your reputation. There is literally like 200 ways to play this game, there is even online multiplayer where you can form a gang with friends and run parts of the map. They also made the map ENORMOUS, it is like you are really their. I highly suggest you guys take a look at it, I will post a few videos below. This game is one of the most anticipated games for 2010.

Don't hold your breath. If this game comes to a PC it will be for at least a year or two which is what Rockstar does when they port their console titles to PC.
Once you all get settled in with the game, check out the free roam multiplayer, would you? I need to know if this is a game worth buying two copies of for the MP.
Free Roam is awesome. First thing I did was long into the Free Roam and it automatically matched me up with 15 other players and I ended up forming a posse with 3 other guys. We collected bounties for a bit and then ran into a couple of other players and got into a fight and somewhere along the line I ended up shooting my horse in the head.

Its an awesome game, very long to. I have 12 hours played and it says im only 27% done. Im still trying to figure online out, like free roam and stuff. Seems like only a few ppl play in free roam.

Amazing, the single player is very long, I have over 12 hours and says im 27% done with the game, if that puts it in perspective for you. Also, that is only doing it on the bad side, you can go back and do it on good side. Free Roam is very fun, can get together with friends and level. Only thing I dont like about online is that when you play the games you dont get to use the guns you unlocked. In the games you can only use guns you start with and guns you pick up. Although in free roam you can do what ever you want with other people.

How "mature" is it in terms of sexual themes and nudity? I saw the advisory label but is it heavy or light in those areas?
Did you play Assasin's Creed 2? If so any worse?
The reason I'm asking is the impact on available play times since we have a 12 year old.

The language is definitely not for the younger crowd. So far (I'm only 15 hours into the game), the sexuality has only been seeing the hookers at the saloons dressed in their under garments with some suggestive sexual language but nothing obscene. The only nudity I've seen so far has been of a naked man that was strung up in a barn that had his genitilia cut off by bandits.

Amazing game... very well made. When your on your horse you can see every muscle. You shoot someone in the leg, they limp. They did a VERY good job on it. Not to mention the map is HUGE.

Move your camera to the side and watch your horse when your going on em. You can see every muscle, hair, and skin do something.

Does anyone have this for PS3?
I've got it on the PS3 though, I think I should have gotten it for the Xbox 360 instead. The Xbox 360 version visual quality is far better than the PS3 version, the PS3 version resolution is 20% less than the Xbox 360's version. The Xbox 360 version runs at 720p @2x AA while the PS3 version runs at 644p with no AA but even with having lower visual quality, the PS3 version still looks excellent and probably one of the better looking games on the PS3.

Yeah I finished saturday, it was awesome. A great story, much better than any GTA story line IMO.

Just bought this game and played about 3 hours into it. I cant put it down. Was riding along on horse back when I came across this guy asking for a ride. Well, i walk up to him, and he throws me off my horse and steals it. Well I wistle for my horse to come back (and in doing so throws the thief off the the horse). I get back on, chase him down, and shoot him in the back. Thats what he gets for trying to steal my horse, and I took his money too.
