Was trying to type .EF on a v-base last night that was overrun (had 4 quick kills in a Ju-87 :D) and was dodging fire while trying to find a safe piece of concrete. I accidentally hit enter a few times (to clear the flubbed .ef i hastily typed from the radio bar) and bailed out just as i came to a stop. :cry
HTC, could you please add a programmable joystick command for END FLIGHT if it's not too much trouble?
One more little thing -
The 109s are out of chronological order on the hangar list.

Try changing the bail out command to another key that you don't normally use...works for me. :D
I think single stroke .ef would get people just as p.o.'d as the eject command...especially if they hit it at the wrong time.

The bail command gives a free kill to the wirble who hit my oil with a single ping. Same as my acciddental enter x3.
I wanted to be able to land my kills before being engulfed in a horde of M4s. I know they were rooting for me. ;)

I changed my bail out command to Ctrl-Enter three times about 9.5 years ago for that very reason.

Good idea guys. Thanks.

Yeah. I changed mine to shift enter shift or something like that. It works well.

Change bailout to Shift + Enter, no more accidental bails.

What I use as well.
I type so durn fast that I would accidentally bail 1-2 times a tour.

Simple! Buy a Hotas Cougar, program a button to type "/ . e f", followed by it hitting the enter button! Instant .ef at a single button press. :D

Not a bad idea at all. Those extra fews seconds of you trying to type out that . command could mean the difference of you not eating a bomb to the forhead or taking a round straight down the kisser :x

Especially for the gv'ers. :aok
