to see if someone is about to enter the military? Lets say headed to boot camp next week
-
Would that kinda info even be public?
-
I doubt that you can check, for security reasons it would surely be iresponsible of the Government to allow lists of armed forces members to be freely available.
You can however research military records on line, so if someone is telling you they have the Medal of Honour, thats checkable at MILITARY-RECORDS ONLINE :aok
-
Who's sneaking off to the military?
-
Did you try calling them? :uhoh
-
You can't ..unless the person that is going tell's you .
-
:old:uh .sr?
-
If he or she is a friend of yours, ask him and if they wants to tell you they will. If they are not a friend or relative of yours it's probably none of your business.
-
you can't check, that info is FOUO or for official use only and cannot be published. But you can ask them before, but once they are there, dont mess with them. If they give you a mailing address you can mail them, other than that, pretty much there is no contact (unless they are air force of course :rofl)
-
Find out where they are going, contact the public relations office, and ask for the address you can use to send recruits private mail. Then send a letter. If it gets returned, then the person did not go.
Yea it would take quite a while to get results back, but it is better than nothing.

And when u send mail don't do like a friend did to one of my fellow recruits. He got a letter sent to him with a package of Goody's heaadache pwder in it. Can you say instant investigation by 4 federral law enforcement services, plus JAG unit.
Other than that BAR you might check with the local recruiter.

Its printed in the local news paper on every cruit that enlists in our community.......unless the soldier was entering a high profile M.O.S.(i.e- Top Secret clearance) they may not divulge all, but it is definitely public info..........have you tried local recruitment offices, BP....?. Would most definitely be in their database.
