Title: Wheels on runway noise in P-39Q
Post by: tf15pin on May 18, 2010, 11:57:51 AM
When taking off in a P-39Q I continue to get the runway rumble noise until the gear is fully up. If you put the gear back down the noise does not begin again until touch down as it should. I did not mess with it to find all the intricacies of when this happens, just casually observed it. I am mostly pointing it out for Vinkman's welfare.

That's not a bug. It's a new feature.

Well not that new...

It's not a bug that the wheels sound like they are in contact with the runway when they in the air and retracting? I'd say something is off with that.
This does not happen in my game. Just as soon as the wheels leave the ground in any aircraft, the rumbleing stops. Then retraction starts. May be system spacific.
