There have been far more than a few threads about the He-111 and Do-17.  Really, all you can do is hope that the HTC staff will put them in next (though very unlikely).  :lol

Would probably help if someone some real life data on those aircraft, like actual Luftwaffe data and some quality pics of the interiors as well as structural drawings.

No, we have to fill out the American plane set because HTC is a US company, and America won the war all by its self. USA!!!! USA!!! USA!!!!!   :uhoh

What kind of Dorniers did you have in mind?  The Do17Zs of the Battle of Britain were retired shortly after.  The Do217s came a bit later and served the remainder of the war.

Come on.  We all know that Texas won the war all by itself.  Nimitz?  Eisenhower?  Texas had better Germans than Germany.

BTW, I live down the road, in Cypress.   :salute

Both, please... The 217 for bombing, the 17Z for scenarios.

Err I believe the he 111 on Il2 is pretty good  carnt we just copy that,as an englishman Ive got to admit that the yanks probly did win the war but had the heinkels and dorniers ever made it over to New York you could bet youre nuts theyd be in the game.

Yeah, I'm sure HiTech is willing to use stuff out of IL2 since he programmed that game as well...

I have a bridge in South Florida to sell you if you believe that tripe.

ruh roh.  You openned a can of worms with that statement.   :uhoh

The British Commonwealth and the Soviets would have been just fine without the Yanks.  The way might have lasted a few more years, but eventually the Germans would have defeated themselves like they mostly always have.

Thats right, Bristol Blenheim  :aok
The idea of adding Heinkels and Dorniers sounds like a good idea, I'll root around for some structural pictures and information on the craft

IMO the He111 should have been the first German AC in the game. No other plane comes to mind when you think of the germans involvement in BoB.

too true my grandmother couldnt tell a 747 from concorde but you could show her silhouettes of 100 different ww2 planes and she would know the heinkel, something to do with the fact that they were trying to kill her I spose.

The he-111 and beaufighter in Duxford's restoration hangar have more chance of gracing the skies for real than appearing in game   ;)

My gran used to tell the stories of her looking out her kitchen window doing the washing up (hayling island)  to see the dirty black silhouettes coming over.  She would nip outside and bring my dad's pram inside   :O

<==  wants the he-111,  just so I can re-create a little piece of history by blowing it out of the virtual sky with 303's!!    :rock

That said the HE-11 has a bomb load of 2,205 why do you really want that a jug could carry more ords :)

I believe that is in kilograms and history is why the He111 matters.

Spek,

We need it so when the BofB scenario comes around we don't look silly chasing Ju88's with their speed hacks.   :noid

The Dornier- 217 would be a Good German bomber for MA usage.
