Playing with my new Geforce 2MX AGP card I notice I can't get anything better than 2X AGP.
I'm using the VIA on an Asus P3V4X, I've put in the latest drivers (mainboard and video card), and checked my BIOS settings but still not 4X AGP.
Anyone else buggered around with this stuff?

Your motherboard probably will not support AGP4X. I have a Via Apollo Pro 133 chipset on this MB. It will NOT support AGP4X for my CL Annililator Pro. My other computer has a Via Apollo Pro 133A chipset and it DOES support it. So check that feature. Also the Via website has a flash upgrade for the chipsets that improves several things.

Go to www.geforcefaq.com/ (http://www.geforcefaq.com/) They have a registry fix to get AGP4x.

Thanks for that! Got it going in 4X mode but AH lasted about 2 minutes before locking, so I guess I'll stick with 2x :-)
