Title: more precise Co-ordinance
Post by: Avanti on May 24, 2010, 02:52:40 AM
Have precise coordinance in game would be great, it would make gv'ing more relistic when a CV in near by, by having the ability to ask for some fire support (CV's would have to have the coordinance on the screen some possibly top right) and could also help when GV's/certain aircraft are near a base that they can give these coordinance to CV groups for more accurate shots

any thoughts?

Avanti

EDIT
spelling fixed cause it was too badass :P

he means coordinates.  spelt checkers hold your sarcasm  :D.

Avanti this would be a nice addition someday,  but it probably happen any time soon.  imagine having cruiser kill gv's that are approaching town from 10-15k away.  would be awesome.

How the heck do you know.... I'm taking it at face value.  Not sure it's a wish, but I agree... +1  Friends and enemies should always attack in twos....... Co - Ordnance Attacks, dare I say!!!  But if we were going to wish for an ordinance, I don't think it should be restrictive to just attacking cv's...............   :D  We should have several ordinances that govern the chatter on country and 200!   :uhoh

he means coordinates.  spelt checkers hold your sarcasm  :D.

I could go all kinds of places with the OP but...Avanti, the word you're looking for is coordinates - any of a set of numbers used in specifying the location of a point on a line, on a surface, or in space.

We do have a coordinate system though not nearly as precise as directing artillery fire would require. It would need something on the range of saying sector 11,2 - kp 5-5-2 so the fire can be directed to within 50 yards. Then we would have to be able to zoom in on the map a lot more too.
