They said Gray had drugs in his apartment, so that's what I'm willing to bet...

Ultra-pure heroin they were mentioning in the news today? :uhoh :( :bolt:

Who knew a rockstar's lifestyle would lead to a short lifespan?
Signed,
Jimi Hendrix, Bon Scott, Janis Joplin

it was an opiate OD.

Stupid way to live and die. Which they all do. RIP Paul Gray.

BTW Bon Scott died from hypothermia, not drugs.

Ya I heard he drank so much that it made him sick, and he drowned in his own vomit. Happened to me a few times growing up, thank God I was on my stomach when I passed out.

Opiates are great, just got to learn when enough is enough is enough is enough is enough is.
-
i'd gladly trade my ex for Dio coming back ! damn shame...
-
Dio was sick for a LONNGGG time, im not a huge fan of slipknot (because I only listen to bands that i can understand what they're saying) Paul Grey OD'ed. Dio was a unique and amazing man

Dio is going to be sorely missed. Grew up listening to DIO.

Bon Scott died from asphyxiation after he chocked on his own vomit due to alcohol poisoning in the back seat of his car.

Yup, Bon drowned in his own puke. And Peter Steele is gone too.

Unfortunately I wasn't. Discovered in the morning that my mullet had been glued to carpet by peculiar dark green stuff that had poured from my mouth during night. Well, mom freaked out a bit...
Sure would have been a classic way to go, being "a rocker" and all. Experiencing such youth I'll never let my kids experiment in that magnitude with those peculiar liquids.

My wife & daughter went to see H&H in San Jose last year. She said i'd probably be her last chance to see DIO live, and wanted to show my daughter what a "real" rock legend was about. :old:

Being in the Des Moines music scene, I had the fortune of meeting Mr. Gray a couple of times. He did alot for struggling bands and artists in the area and was always very friendly. He'll be missed.
