Title: Video Questions.
Post by: ovmech on August 24, 2000, 06:21:00 PM
I bought the Elsa Erazor X video card.. Geoforce 32MB  for $150.00, lowest price I could find on the net.

I lost my options to go to a higher res than 1040X768. They are grey'd out and cannot be Selected.

Testing offline with a 300a overclocked to 450 and 128 mem I get 60 to 80 FPS in that res but I wanted to see what I'd push with the higher ones but I can't select them now.....

AGP apature size.... I think the rule of thumb is half of your mem.... but what does it do if you max it out?

Any help?

Actually ovmech, your AGP aperature size should be equal to the amount of video ram on your display card.  Setting it higher than that does not buy any more performance.
