How do I execute an unloaded dive?    :airplane:

Unloaded means either no excessive G's ( as in pushing forward on your Stick to where you are experiencing Negative G's ) only resting at the normal 1 G+ while diving after initial gaining of dive angle

or can also mean pushing forward stick input gently while resting the G meter on "0"

unloaded dive =  0 G's + or -

you will reach a point however doing the "0" G dive to where you are pointed straight down

hope this helps

Unloaded means zero G on the airframe. It allows the most acceleration because you are relieving some of the drag producing aerodynamic forces. It also allows maximum roll rate.

To properly execute a flat scissors the reversals should be unloaded rolls to maximize rate.

Anytime you want maximum acceleration or max roll rate you should unload the airframe.

This does not mean shoving in a bunch of negative G. Load is load, positive or negative. Zero G is the goal.

Of course, how accurately this is modeled in game is subject to much debate.

I was always taught that to unload meant to not have any stick input for the elevators, which would mean that regardless of what heading you was pointed at up - down - diagonally, you would still be at the 1G+

like if I was lining up for a shot, I would unload my plane before firing
zoom climbs / zoom dives I was taught was 0 G for maximum effect

you professionals correct me if I am incorrect please
