I was looking at the preview for D-Day and I saw the Tempest was taken out. Well I was reading about the Tempest, and it was used in D-Day, so it would be nice to have. I also looked up the B-25H and when it was issued, that too was in time. Then for the axis I saw the 190D-9 was issued too in time. But feel free to correct me.
:salute to you guys who run these they're usually lots of fun. I hope this in the right place

Depending on the scenario, those listed aircraft probably werent used during that day in that location. I could be wrong though.

Actually I didn't know were to put the This Day in WWII post. So I put it here, hope its ok.

Dora did not see action at D-Day. Yes it saw action in Normandy campaign, but not on June 6 on the beaches. The 190A-8 and f-8 did straffing and support roles while the 109s attacked the allied fighters. The Tempest were directly involved in D-Day doing bombing runs. The Typhoon and tempest were widely used as ground attack anyway. If the Tempest is put into action it should be put into a jabo role. The Tempest was probably taken out due to the temptation to fly it high and with speed as a fighter which would be historically inaccurate.

Except he is wrong.
The Fw 190D9 first deployed operationally in October 1944 with III/JG54, they had recieved their first copies in September.
The Tempests first flew over the invasion area in fighter sweeps on June 8th where the type scored it's first kill and then almost immediately were withdrawn to combat the V1 stream.
