Title: A2A/Shockwave - B-17G Flying Fortress + Accu-Sim Expansion
Post by: Boxkite on May 28, 2010, 11:14:23 AM
Hi Folks,

did anyone tried this Add-on for FSX?
The main interest is about the Accu-Sim Expansion.  Is it worth the money?

That depends on what you consider 'worth it' to be. I would say yes myself but at the same time I would rather see them model their planes like this from the beginning and start making more planes. I really want to see an F8F and an F86 in this type of product but also a P-51 (but not the one they already have).

You want to shove the throttles full forward for your whole flight and not touch any of the switches and buttons, then Accusim isn't for you. However, if ultra realism is your goal, I can't think of anything better. I'm very happy with it. Their Accusim planes are pretty the only ones I fly now in FSX. Nothing else I have compares.
