Title: 1.4Ghz shows as 1.06Ghz???

Seems to be something amiss here, my cpu is supposed to be a 1.4Ghz chip but shows on the SiSoft Sandra scan as being:
AMD Athlon(tm) Processor @ 1.06Ghz

Am I missing something in the speed rating?

What does your bios indicate?

There can be two things wrong:
1)Old version of Sandra or
2)You need to flash your motherboard's bios to new version.

Check in your bios....sounds like you are running at 100mhz instead of 133mhz.

It should be adjustable...  :)

This community is great! Thanks for the quick replies... bios was set at 100 instead of 133. Reset the bios and now it is showing properly at 1.4Ghz

hmmm... off to recheck the benchmarks   :)
