Title: unable to connect for version checking?

hey guys i just downloaded the game again and when i click on online i get "unable to connect for version checking. please check all firewall settings". im not the best with computers and it would be nice to get some help on this. TY <S>

Firewalls all have thier own way of doing things.  Something on your computer is blocking the game from accessing the Internet, or you are behind a router which has a firewall enabled and it is blocking the game from the Internet, or both.

First thing to do is determine what is blocking the games access to the Internet.
