I don't know if it's just because that I have been around the military most of my life but, if I see anything that has to beat the air into submission to fly I'm not going to just stand around like normal.  Hell anyone that has seen any footage of that bird knows what kind of crap it stirs up on takeoff and landing on unprepared areas.
