I see a number of interesting techniques you've used there, overal it's a good detailed skin.

One thing I would question is the drop-shadows behind the numbers and the fuselage crosses. They make them stand out in contrast more, but they don't seem to fit.

Another thing is that I think the lift markings on the nose are supposed to hug the nose cone panel line more closely. Have you seen this page?: http://www.stormbirds.net/markings_stenciling.htm

Last update was in May as I recall, so we probably have at least a few more months to wait.
