				Crazy.

A friend of mine actually HIT a deer upon take-off about a week before taking his checkride.

It rattled him so much that he never went back and finished.

 I called him a big <meow>

What ever.  Nice fake.  They guy is flying into the sun and his screen is not all white.  Unpossible  :D

				Reminds me of the Bill Engvall sketch;
Bill: Honey, I'm gonna be a bit late home, the plane hit a deer.
Wife: Were you on the ground?

Water looks too unrealistic.  AH water is modeled better.  :lol

I know of one deer that took a pitot tube enema from a Lear 35 and somehow got away.   :huh

I don't believe it escaped the coyotes but it was a disappointment for the owner of the airplane not to have a part to trade in for a replacement.

I've got an HD video on the external mount showing 2 deer. If we touched we wouldve taken 1 in the engine and the orher in the right wing. Will post tonight.

Flying with my brother once in a C172, we almost took out a couple of Sandhill Cranes on takeoff, there was half a dozen of them just walking across the runway.  2 of them passed right under the wing.  If we had been in a low-wing aircraft the wing would have decapitated them.  Once airborne we radioed back and the FBO sent a truck out to chase them away...  silly birds.

				Good move by that pilot!

I'll not post the last picture of what's left of the deer.

KMMU had a big problem with wildlife strikes before they improved the fences around the field.
The Army had to replace at least two PT-6s on their U-21 <turboprop Queenair conversions> after
hitting deer.  I've seen deer wrapped around landing gear, snap off scissor links, even jam a cabin
door on a Citation VII <passengers and crew had to deplane through the emergency exit>.

They used to warn you about the wildlife on the automated information system it was so bad.  One
of my more interesting memories came from a flight instructor buddy who was landing in a C-172.
He was just warning the student "Be alert for geese and dee...<BAM!> A deer had run out from the woods
next to runway 23 and hit the fuselage between the prop and the cabin door!  Excellent object lesson and
 no serious damage done.  :aok

I can't help but ask... Did the deer actually hit the plane or did you let Jason have it?

I guess I don't get the reference.  There are many other rather gory nasty awful photos of what can happen when a deer (or worse yet, people...  :( ) meet airplanes and airplane engines.

It's a big deal especially if you're the one paying the bills/insurance premiums.

Well, it looks like somebody put a deer through a wood chipper.... or in this case, a propeller...  :noid
