Title: Selecting plane without enough perk points
Post by: Yossarian on June 09, 2010, 05:46:57 PM
A bit hard to describe (or it's just too late here), so here's how to replicate it:

1)Go to hangar, select any plane, and select a non-default skin for that plane
2)Then select a plane which you don't have enough perk points for (in my case this is only the 262, I don't know if it applies to other perked planes or not)
3)Return to the plane you selected in step #1, and you will see that the skin for it has been reset to the default.

I noticed this a week or two ago, but I forgot about it until I didn't see it in the latest release notes.

It seems that if you select a plane that is already selected it forgets which skin you had and goes back to default.

Could it be that it won't apply the skin until you spawn the plane?  Not sure, as I haven't tested it...

Does it happen only when switched to/from a perk plane?  Or any plane?

I've noticed this as well.  I'll have my favorite 262 skin picked out and when I run out of perks, next time I go to fly the jet it is reset to default.

I know it doesn't happen with the 110G, except on a major update...  :salute
