Title: USC Banned From Post-Season For 2 Years

Looks like USC won't be going to a bowl game for the next 2 years, and they're being stripped of some of their wins from the past few seasons.  This has to suck for the guys playing there right now, your basically playing for nothing now.

Thats a shame. I suppose though that if youre gonna cheat the rules, there will be consequences to be had.

Must be really serious when FBI investigating it too.  I bet Pete Carroll will be suck in to it too.

Pete Carroll shouldn't be sucked into it but I'm sure the USC AD will try and make Carroll the scapegoat to save his own job.  The USC AD should go down as he's encouraged a cozy relationship between the alumni boosters and the players but he won't because USC will be too scared to fire him.

That all depends how much he knows about it and what money he got out of it.

There's even noise that their '04 championship will be declared null and void due to cash payments given to Reggie Bush/family

It's too bad that some just can't play by the rules...  Reminds me of the UNLV basketball program.

Yes, the early 1990 UNLV BB team.  Vegas must have saw their largest profit that year when UNLV won the National Championship.
