Title: Finshed some projects
Post by: gunnss on June 10, 2010, 11:11:04 PM
Well they are done,
We just (Last week) put the final touches on a novel we are pitching at Nasfic in August. (North American Science Fiction Convention), then we submitted the last episode of "No ship for Tranquebar" to the Grantville Gazette. Now all we need to do is get the second novel done. (also to pitch at Nasfic) All in all it is two hundred and eighty thousand words of fiction, forty K of them already paid for.

Regards,
Kevin

Thanks,
But now we have to go sell them....(Grin)

Our best shot is the author publisher reception the day before the convention.

On the plus side one is a space opera, and the other is a SF crime investigation story. The market seems to be trending in that direction.

Regards,
Kevin

Have you considered publishing them as E-books at Smashwords or Amazon?

Might want to take a look.

Larry Niven beat the market to that by a number of  years....

Also, congratulations, and good luck.
