We got a new manager for the sales department at work this week. I was talking to him about the free air show this weekend in Milwaukee and he mentions he's a pilot.
We start talking about flying, and he knows about AH...
turns out his grandfather's flight trainer was Orville Wright! He's got the original cert signed and everything. How cool is that?!
I'll try and get a scan of it or something.

My Great Great Grandfathers brother was a man by the name of Lawrance. Who ran an engine company, they happened to work with a little buisness that dealt with aviation by the name of "Wright Bicycles".
My great great uncle was responsible for the Engine department in Wright aviation and built the Wright Cyclone engine.
Its funny how many people have these little connections with history isnt it.
But I must admit having Orville Wright as a flight instructor is ALOT cooler.
