Ok so im sure this has been talked about before, Im just to lazy to do the search to find out. I feel the soft guns should count as a kill if destroyed while manned by a player. The player in the gun gets a death and the player that killed the gun scores a kill that registers on the screen as a "you shot down...." The plane or tank that takes the risk of killing a manned soft gun gets a kill against their score if killed by said gun and the gunner gets his name in lights if he kills 2 or more enemy yet if i kill all the manned guns at a field or on a CV that had a player manning them i get nothing. Im sure this could be incorporated into the scoring/ranking as well.

On principle I would have to agree...on the other hand, I don't even pay attention to score so it would be useless to me personally.

They get their names in lights, but their kills do not effect their score. Fair trade off.

You should get a kill against an object that can not move and takes exactly 1 cannon round to destoy?
:rofl

(...)and takes exactly 1 cannon round to destoy?
... which doesn't even have to hit the gun to destroy it... ;)

That object that can not move and only takes 1 round to kill also has multiple auto guns around it shooting at you plus in most planes can kill you with one shot as well. Just saying if it counts as a death for me to get shot down should also count as a death for the person in the gun if destroyed. Im not exactly worried about score myself but I see those that are sitting in soft guns shooting at attackers knowing it does not affect their score. May motivate them to man up and get in a plane instead.

Why? So they can get vulched?
Take note that the gun is completely immobile, and you always heave the option to stay out of the ack.
