A sweet Dodge Challenger commercail

This ad was on right before the game started on Saturday, and the crowd reaction almost made me ashamed to be rooting for the guys in blue. Needless to say, class was left a the door in that bar. Ah well, I guess it gets the point across.

Eh, the commercial wasn't that great, but this image made me laugh.

:rofl :rofl :rofl
I loved the fact that George Washington was driving one of those cars.

Just what was classless with this ad? I didn't see it but I did laugh when I saw it just now. Nothing wrong with it at all in my opinion but then I am not British...I am an AMURICAN BY GOD!

It was quite funny.
Strangely enough though, I also saw the 'its a freakin UFO' Challenger advert where they effectively say 'please don't listen to those nasty car reviewers', presumably because the Challenger keeps coming last in every comparison test its put in.

I don't really get the ad itself but the shot of Washington driving the car made me LOL at work. :rofl

Please don't misunderstand, there's nothing wrong with the ad. It was the reaction to the ad at the bar, which was during the England vs US game.

I do agree here, I laughed pretty hard at that shot -- particularly his expression. :rofl

George Washington was one bad bellybutton dude!

Strangely, the US wasn't playing the British at soccer.

Its still the absolute best car to tow your DG 1000S Challenger to the field with. :aok :D

If Bruv and his bunch were on the field of battle that day, we'd be looking like this when it was over.
(http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk121/TheAmish/wreckedmopar.jpg) just saying......... :(

I thought the whole premise of the as was kinda stupid, that is that the US builds superior cars to Britain, and this coming from the sinking ship that is Chrysler of all companies.
In my mind Chrysler is kinda to the US what British Leyland was to the UK... ... ...
And to imply that the UK makes no worthwhile sports cars!!! Has Chrysler never heard of Aston Martin, TVR or Lotus??
If I had the money and I wanted a new fire-breathing, rubber-burning, break-your-neck-accelerating, ear-drum-shattering, sexy beast of a muscle car, I'd take a V8 Vantage :rock any day over a Chrysler.
I should note that my favorite car is kind of a Brit/Yank cross. The Shelby Cobra 427sc :x British looks and handling, with American muscle under the hood. Also the Ford GT40 has a lot of British in it as well.

Some of you guys need to have that stick removed. Lighten up Francis :D

:lol :lol
I think the idea behind the marketing *Washington kicking butt* is funny. I just don't think it fits the product being sold.
Would have worked better IMO if it had been done with a type of vehicle that is uniquely American, like say 1-ton diesel pickups like their RAM, or giant SUVs like the Durango. I just don't think Chrysler's modern incarnations of classic muscle cars like the Charger and Challenger are that special or unique.

Heh, more or less what it comes down to I guess. Considering the bar I was just caught off guard, I suppose. Just never understood the need to "boo" myself. If you're gonna heckle, at least be witty about it. :aok
