Title: Athlon classic or t-bird?

i have a mother board that i bought cheap from ubid.  It states it supports the AMD-Athlon, which one is my question?

Mother Board specs...

ATXIR1

The cpu says amd athlon but it doesnt say it supports the t-bird core?

its a slot 1, 750 irongate chipset.

Slot 1 is the classic, but for your information they did (do) make the tbird in a slot 1 configuration.  To use them you would probably need a bios flash though.  Look up the info for your particular board to see.
