Title: using a rocker rudder.. ????
Post by: Wobble on October 17, 2001, 02:26:00 AM
My TM afterburner HOTAS has both the twist stick and rocker rudder option... Im used to my cybord 3d so ive been using the twisty stick rudder.. am I missing out on anything by not trying the rocker? or is it just one of thos personal preference things?

I use the rocker rudder because I have a bad habit of twisting my hand around the joystick especially when turning.   I dont think you're missing anything, just a matter of preference.   In fact I think using the rudder/stick is probably more responsive and your turns may be more coordinated using the stick/rudder combination than the rocker rudder on the throttle.

I've used both: go for the rocker rudder.

But both pale compared to proper rudder pedals.
