I think the radar going out country-wide as a result of HQ going down is a bad idea. The victim country is usually being outnumbered and overrun. The current setup just rewards sledgehammer tactics and rolling bases with impunity. Taking bases promotes fights, but without radar or darbars, it means you have to search for the enemy (yawn).
I propose that killing the HQ should instead disable troops for the victim country. That way, they can still put up a fight. The basetakers on the troopless side could run M3s and goons to the HQ (since they have no problem of doing that on offense) and the sledgehammer side will be happy because they won't lose a base - albeit temporarily.
The best part is that there will be more fighting and less searching for the enemy. Fun for everyone. :aok

It is funny how knights is out numbers, most of the time, and either bish or rooks sets up a HQ raid yet they can not win the map from that alone.

See I beg to differ....... Last tour, or maybe the one before that, Knights were rolling maps almost everyday. This is something that fluctuates greatly.

I suppose it could be changed, just a rewrite of the code a bit.
Logan, for most of the time I've been playing, Nits have been out numbered for a great amount of the time. Sometimes they have numbers but generally that is not the case.

Don't get me wrong my Arado Flyer........ I would probably agree with you. I was just bringing up that 2 week period a few months ago. Where it was literally a new map almost everyday and it was always Knits winning them.

---idea--- what if HQ destruction causes vox transmission for 5 minutes or typing for 5 minutes to show a sort of information transmission between forces that would happen if the HQ was truly destroyed? or just make it squad transmissions country and vox. and let range stay up.

Doesn't work, because it has a different impact on players that are using other means of communications like Teamspeak.

HQ raids are easy to stop with Me163s.
